I purchased multiple gift cards at Jimmy Johns in Arlington Heights, Illinois. After giving the cards, I later found there was no value placed on them. I contacted JJ corporate via their website. I did not get a response after a week, so I contacted them again. I was advised to contact the people I gave the gift cards to and get the card numbers and security codes. I then had to do that and email JJ's. After I did that, this is the response I received:

"I had our third party provider look at December’s card issuance for the two stores in Arlington Heights. It looks like the card number that you provided fits with those being issued from Store # 748 and the range of card numbers around card 6737 were activated around December 22 and 23...It appears that the cashier processed your credit card purchase on the POS system, but failed to load the gift cards on the terminal. This particular location is a “Gift Only” account. They are using a standalone terminal to process gift cards and their POS system is handling the credit cards through another processor. This prevents us from matching the credit card purchase to any gift card transaction to research further. We also cannot reimburse your credit card since we are not processing credit for this store. "

I then asked for gift cards to be resent or for someone I could speak to to fix the situation. That was a week ago, I still have not heard back.
