First and foremost, I love Jimmy Johns sandwiches, especially the No. 8 Billy Club.

But, holy cow, the JJ location at 216 W. Jackson in Chicago charges so much for that sandwich compared to others in the Chicago area. Plus, they skimp on the veggies and the bread is not cut to the correct size. They cut the bread smaller.

Heck, if I'm gonna pay close to $9 for a sandwich, I want my moneys worth. The last time I went there, I swore I just paid $9 for a Slim Jim. I felt ripped-off. If the proprietor is reading this, check your employees, and make sure they are cutting the bread to the right size and don't skimp on the veggies, pile that stuff on, so customers feel they are getting value for your high priced sandwich.

I understand, you may need to charge more for your sandwiches because you are downtown Chicago and you hardly get customer traffic on the weekends, but you should not have to compromise value when you are already charging higher rates than your fellow JJ franchisees.

Reason of review: Pricing issue.

Location: Chicago, Illinois
